[10/30/23] Yesterday evening we held an award ceremony to honor a couple of very worthy brothers with the Golden Trowel Award.
We were blown away by the great turnout to support the recipients and the many heart warming comments made by attendees who came to show how proud they are of the two men being honored.
The Golden Trowel is the highest honor we can bestow upon members, and is given to recognize exemplary actions and behavior. One was given to a dual member by Roy Stanley lodge but he is a member of our lodge as well. Both brothers were recognized for going above and beyond in the actions they took to care for one of our brothers in his final days (and his widow). Metropolitan is very proud to have such amazing members, most certainly worthy of our favor and esteem. Kudos to brother Davis and Reddy, for walking the walk, and leading by example!
